The Filmakademie Wien, the film academy of the mdw, trains directors and crew to think visually from script stage, and storyboard artists feed directly into that prep culture. Austria's central European position lets shoots also draw illustration and pre-vis talent from Germany and neighbouring countries under EU freedom of movement.
