Alpine and winter shooting puts real demands on data hardware: cold December-to-March conditions on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road or around Sölden in the Ötztal call for cold-weather battery running, condensation control before drives are powered, and stable power packs logistics for offload tents at altitude.

Non-EU shoots importing DIT and storage hardware clear ATA Carnets through Zollamt Österreich, with Vienna Global Airport the main air-cargo gateway and Munich and Zurich airports also feeding shoots by road. Intra-EU gear moves freely with no carnet.
